eVa Is Bringing Something New

Eva Ogoro is a breath of fresh air to the Nigerian Entertainment Industry. Even though she has the blueprint to the world of entertainment, she did not follow the same pattern set by the regular pop naija club sound. eVa is not afraid to try something new and different and you can hear that on this album.

Flyest Naija chick… i think you are just hating… eVa is more than just okay. Her lyrics are mature and so is her voice… i really wish her the best of luck and i hope she does pay attention to folks like you…. e Va… please keepit up, the sky is just the beginning for you

  8. frankyln says:

I agree abosede… we have a lot of haters among females… why is that? i think eVa deserves a pat on the back for her efforts, the songs are really nice and matured… can we download it on this site?

  11. Stanley says:

I think this babe has got it!!! i also think she is a brilliant writer and i think she is going to have to face a lot of beef from other females who feel that the idea of womanhood is flaunting body parts around the whole place. Do your thing girl… enjoy being you because you do it so well… you don blow finish… NA SOOOOO

  12. kemi says:

Wow… This is really nice. I get an angelina kijo vibe from her.. I think she reps naija beautifully.

I am loving this chick more and more

  16. prisillia says:

Her songs just keep sipping into you like honey… it later becomes like a melody. i love her lyrics too. i have never heard songs so sincere from a nigerian before… everyone is singing alot of superficial bull… this chick is deep

  17. marcanthony says:

eVa is the revolution of Nigerian music.. she is going to do for music in Nigeria what Asa and Nneka… i am seriously feeling her and as a bonus.. she is really cute… Hey… how come her new video NA SOO is not uploaded on this sight? that video is simply Hooooooooooooot!!!

  24. Nwanna says:

i just watched this babe’s video called NA SO on Soundcity… wow! she is soooooooooooo cool and i love the song. I have been singing it since. How can i get a copy of this album PLEASE!!!

  25. hakunamatata says:

This babe is the next BEST thing among the females in Nigeria… i wish her the best of luck…. even though she really doesn’t need it because she has the talent

  26. babycakes says:

I love the effort in this album but i do think that she has so much potential than she is letting out. A friend posted her NA SO video to me, which is getting mad hits by the way… this chick is holding back… there is something explosive about her and i pray she gets triggered very soon

  27. Queenbklyn says:

I think she is OK but nothing serious, nothing is unique about her voice or sound. I have heard much better Nigeria female vocalist and this can be much better

  28. hakunamatata says:

are you kidding @Queenbklyn? you are obviously a HATER!!! Please name one Nigerian female artiste who has a stunning and unique voice without sounding like a cheap photocopy of beyonce or Kesha Cole….

Please… this chick is not trying to impress anybody. she is singing it as she is feeling it. @babycakes… i do agree with you. We still havent seen the best of this chick. I have a real good feeling about this one

  29. Annie says:

Well… i will not support mediocracy… not that i am saying that eVa is a mediocre but i do think that she can do a whole better in this album. i do feel her and i love the concept behind each song but i have to agree with @babaycakes… this chick should buckle up… she has it… she should just get the right people to push it and most importantly… push HER

  30. Choc' boy says:

Like i care……..not hatin’ u guys should encourage female MC’s Instead of hatin’……she tight pray 9ja accepts

  31. fabolousguy says:

WORD!!! @Choc’boy people are so fond of beefig when they cannot do a fraction of the stuff the person they are beefing can do. I think eVa rocks… i just pray that she doesn’t get intimidated and boxed into the stereotypical kind of music that is currently reigning in Naija. Not everybody can be timaya or terry G. eVa… do your thang girl!!!

  32. Flyest Naija Chick says:

Obviuosly this babe have a lot of family and friends posting bogus comments for her, the truth remains the same, she sucks and don’t have a chance in this industry. I will rather jam to Weird MC, Kel, Sasha or Asa if I want hear some Naija female artists. No be you, Na underdarock i blame for this nonsense

  33. hakunamatata says:

BEEF! BEEF!! BEEF!!! @Flyest Naija chick you are subject to your opinion but please if you have nothing positive to say about people who are in themselves positive… SHUT THE HELL UP!!! the chick dey do her own thing dey make her money… what are you doing? what is YOUR own contribution to the Nigerian industry. eVa doesnt need to get her friends and family to blog for her… she is real and we love her. If you are in Nigeria.. try tuning to Wazobia Fm between 12 and 2pm and listen for yourself. you are not an evil person *hiss

  34. angryafrican says:

@Flyest NAija Chick… you are obviously a trouble maker and one who is intimidated by competition. In your earlier blog, you said she was OK and now you are sayig that she sucks and does not have a chance in the market. WHO ARE YOU??? do you go online looking for female artistes in Nigeria to diss them?? I think your comment to underdarock was also inappropriate… nobody is forcing you to enter this site and nobody is forcing you to agree with people’s opinion about eVa. so GROW UP or SHUT UP!!!

you are obviously the only on who doesnt think eVa is good or has the potential to do us proud in Nigeria… if that is the case… state your opinion peacefully… which you did earlier and MOVE ON!! Jeez!

  35. Flyest Naija Chick says:

@Angryafrican yeah it is true, im just not feeling the way her friends and her family are making her to be much more than she is, as a female myself, I love to see females do good. But to tell the truth, her jams dont make much sense to me, and if not for this site that, I never heard of her before. None of my friends that party hard know her too, I mean how many copies of her album did she sold? I’m not trying to hate on her, but I can’t pick out any track that’s a hit song.

Are my the only one that also noticed that in her videos, she looks 10 times darker than the album cover????? Na wa O, na so for Naija?

  36. angryafrican says:

@flyest naija chick… i beg to differ.eVa has been around for sometime actually. she is NOT a party o club kinda person as you will see from the album. The issue is that you are just not her market… her hit single is NO CRY… people always say they don’t know it but when the song gets played, tney scream their heads off and go ‘i know this song’. and you really need to see the chick on stage.

I am a journalist, i have seen eVa 3 times on stage and the chick is phenomenal.

As for her picture… lol how that one take concern whether the chick get talent or not… haaa! THIS ONE NA REAL BEEF! is that why you don’t like her? because she is darker than her picture? Oh girl you don waka for this ‘Naija sun’ lol. cut the chick some slack…

  37. angryafrican says:

@flyest chick you might want to go to YOUTUBE and type out EVA NA SO… that’s her new video. i think its really cool

  38. ColorMehNaija says:

She reminds me of a hybrid between old school like Lagbaja with the beats I guess and her voice is alright, but not all that serious. Yeah, but she has a striking resemblance to Eve and it happens to coincide with her real name (I presume)

  39. girl about town says:

lol.wonder why all the fuss and hating. we dont have to wait till we lose another artiste to show some love. babe is okay even though the kind of market she appeals to is just blooming in nigeria.

    Eva o lenu bi ….
