9ice Hits Fan At A Concert!
This isnt the best of times for the Nigerian music industry with the sudden loss of one of their own, DAGRIN. The late rapper was scheduled to perform at the University of Lagos “Easy Cliq” campus gig sponsored by Etisalat.
Both Dagrin and Terry G would have performed at the show before DAGRIN had the fatal accident that later claimed his life, and Terry G had been banned by the association of nigerian universities not to perform at any nigerian universities again following his refusal to perform at a Uniben gig after being paid.
And so fans gathered at the event which was held today,Friday, 23rd of April to see the replacement for the show. Word got into town that Wande Coal had been contacted and would perform and so adrenaline was pumping. It was to utter excitement when the teeming fans discovered that the star of the night was no other than Abolore Akande a.k.a 9ice.
So excited were the fans that one of them, a young crazy fan of 9ice rushed up on stage to grab him but he was hit with a big punch from the crooner, and before the fan could make any move, the bouncers had pulled him off the stage. This caused a stir of reactions as some people felt the young boy was just a fan who wanted to show support and didnt deserve the harsh treatment from the star and to some, he simply got what he deserved.
To 9ice: Well that wasnt so nice afterall……
