Am glad Psqaure is performing in NYC as I am a big fan. but I want to comment on the offers they said they are/were getting from promoters here in the U.S. being that its far to small in relative to what they are getting or being offered in Africa and maybe in Europe. What they fail to realize or just choose to ignore is that, the promoters in Africa etc are not the ones paying them but the sponsors of the event or concerts who are multi million dollar companies that have huge marketing budgets. The promoters in the U.S don't have this and are paying out of pocket to promote them. The U.S is the biggest market in the world but Psquare is not known here outside of the Nigerians that live here so to get sponsors to bankroll the concerts is near to zero as they have no marketing power here. One might argue that when American superstars go to Africa they get 'PAID' but the stars are known worldwide to all countries. so they do have the marketing power for companies to promote their brands.
I don't know how much they are getting paid for the NYC show but I do hope they realize this and do shows not only for the money but their fans here
wow am so happy to know that my super stars are going to perform live in NYC
i wish you guys all the best in the world on that day i believe so much on you guys i know the sky is not your limit but the stars are your limit.
i love you guys so much.am your biggest fan GOD knows that,
i wish i could have your direct email address that way i could tell you my mind,am so so happy i wish to be like you guys some day.
you are the best in AFRICA.
im so excited ur coming to new york city i cant wait me n my daughter we love u both and your music is so nice to listen to we wish we can go to every concert u will be having here in the usa but gets thats kinda greedy well keep it real n we will see u guys in new york
I sincerely agree with the first comment, you are right. P Square dint notice that because they think everyone including the Nigerians here know them, but thats not true, i'd suggest that what they should do is, they should travel around, sing their song and catch the fun and the money but not stay here bcos it will take a while before they themselve will notice that its not much fun..staying here…well only if u're loaded. I think the reason most nigerians don't consider anything when they get to the U.S. is that the exchange rate is o high, i mean the money, yes its high but its not worth it. I am very exited for them cos i usually don't go to show, i don't like it, but its a stepping stoe for them to perform here tho. I pray that it all goes well, the funniest thing is the show is two days before my birthday….isn't that the best time to rock….have fun guys u diserve it….
I'm OD excited to see you guys perform in NYC, but i wonder who is in charge of marketing/prices. $40 is very reasonable, but am I the only one who finds the price tagg of a $600 table for 4 people to be too damn high?? Went to a lady gaga concert and pnly paid $250 to meet and take a pic with her. Lets face it, this ain't madison square garden, its club amazura in jamaica queens!! And don't tell me the club sets this price cuz i've been there so many times and it ain't that much. P-square needs to find a better management team in the usa cuz the one you have right now is not doing a great job at all.
P- square management are charging $25,000 to perform,Justtafan you right they need a better management cause there is no way on this earth that you will get even half of $25,000 when you host p-sqaure. in the Unite State. They higher you can charge on a ticket is $40.I don't know how the management come up with this price.Even Usher doesn't charge that
