Zaina – Moving On

On June 7, 1982, the making of a star was brought into the world. This singer/songwriter known to her family and friends as Zainab Agoro is now making her announcement to the world as Zaina.

Born in Chicago, Illinois to Nigerian parents Yinka and Supo Agoro, Zaina spent her early years growing up here in the states. Zaina’s entry into the entertainment industry came naturally and almost easily. Her striking face and tall slender frame made her stick out in every setting. She immediately attracted the likes of industry professionals and scouts. She began her modeling career at the tender age of 6 posing and smiling for any camera in site. By the age of 10 Zaina realized that her passion wasn’t so much in modeling but in music. She joined the local choirs in her school in England and then came back to the US at age 16 to further her experiences in music. An all around music lover Zaina also took up the trumpet and tuba; she played in her school’s orchestra and jazz band for five years.

Even with so much talent and drive. Almost 28 years old, matured and well rounded, Zaina has began her journey into stardom. She has had the privilege to work with artists such as Eldee,on his album (return of the king), Keno, Del, Banky, Styl Plus, Zara, Amplifyed, Lynxx, Sauce Kid, Sasha, Naira, and many others…. She has graced the same stage with the likes of DBanj, Tuface, Eldee, Majek Fashek, and Nykita just to mention a few. With such a growing buzz Zaina has been sought after by dj’s and radio stations and appeared on Bt1703 radio station, London.

This beautiful, talented singer songwriter, dancer is one on the rise, one with drive, ambition, and huge talent. It won’t be long before Zaina is seen amongst the movers and shakers of the music/entertainment industry. Her passion and love for music is just a compliment to her personality and humbleness. All of these attributes combined with her music and style is a recipe for success. People hold on to your seats and look real close, Zaina is on the rise and the best is yet to come.
