African Fashion Week takes place June 30th through July 3rd in Johannesburg, South Africa. This year’s fashion week promises to you offer collections from 33 designers including, Thula Sindi, Xuly Betz , London-based Nigerian designer Bunmi Koko, among others. Considering the excitement of the Worldcup and Ghana’s recent defeat of the U.S. soccer team, African Fashion Week promises to be full of excitement, spirited, and surprising events.
Additional events include seminars, African Fashion Awards, and exclusive launch of the African International Boutique.
Personally speaking, this year’s Fashion Week promises to bring a diverse and unique set of designers. From the couture look of designer Abigail Betz to the bold and empowering looks of Bunmi Koko, Africa Fashion Week 2010 has something to inspire any one and everyone!
