UnderDaRock, Ariya and Big Moose Entertainment did it again for the 5th year with the mother of all after parties, the official Nigeria Independence Day Celebration After Party, at Club Moka in Queens. If you missed this you weren’t anywhere. The club was bumper to bumper, Awilo shut it down, even the bar ran out of drinks, it was out of control!!

We kicked of the celebrations on Thursday night with the Welcome Party @ Buka Restaurant in Brooklyn, Friday saw the Cultural Night where we experienced performances from world renowned artists such as Serani…and Miss Delta was crowned Miss Nigeria Independence 2010. The main event: Saturday Nigerians and our friends flooded the streets of NYC with pride in jubilant celebration as we partied with the floats from 54th street to 44th street with the festival at 47th St. Music, performances, food and beautiful weather, all made for a fantastic family day. To the thousands that came out, thank you, and we look forward to seeing you next year!

NEW YORK, NY– (May 12, 2010) – The Producers of the NEA Awards are pleased to announce the details of the Fifth Annual NEA Awards scheduled for New York City on Saturday, September 18th, 2010 at 5:30pm at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Art Center. This year’s event promises to be fully loaded with many of the top acts from Nigeria and in the Diasporas.
