The founder of UnderDaRock Inc, UnderDaRock Entertainment, UDR Wear, Co Founder and Executive producer of the Annual Nigeria Entertainment Awards. UnderDaRock Entertainment is one of the biggest promotional companies in the United States having produced shows in Nigeria and Europe. He is also a scientist specializing in Clinical Data Management and has worked for some of the worlds largest Pharmaceuticals including Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Schering Plough and Novartis.

A strong believer in the unification of Africa, he is a member of Organization for the Advancement of Nigeria (OAN) and he is an active member of the Annual Nigeria Independence Day Parade planning committee in New York. He sees himself as a “STUDENT”, student of nature, student of music, and student of LIFE.

Lisa DubyaCee, Editor, is a supporter, contributor and member of all things UnderDaRock since before its inception until forever.  She understands the importance of the African entertainment industry standing independently, truly representing Africans and the African experience while delivering world class entertainment.

Lisa is passionate about the freedom and unification of Africa and Africans worldwide, (whether we can trace our roots there directly or call ourselves by some other name).

Habeeb Lawal Writer, is a young dynamic writer,blogger, student and an aspiring film maker who describes himself as an avid entertainment enthusiast who would do anything to have a nice quiet fun moment filled with chills and sparks. He is currently an undergraduate at the university of Lagos studying Theatre Arts.

Habeeb has done screenplays for Nollywood movies like Emotional Mistake, This time tomorrow, Ese Akoko, Outplayed etc. He also works for Sofisticated Magazine as Deputy Editor and Content Editor. Habeeb has big dreams of joining the league of creative individuals who are poised on helping to revolutionize the Nigerian entertainment industry.


Nonye Anike, Contributor, Babe’s a graduate of Linguistics from Unizik Awka and an alumna of Microsoft ICT4D Academy Kenya.

Multi faceted, she’s jumped from being a radio producer/presenter to NGO and now chasing after clients in advertising/marketing communications.

She has recently fallen in love with the lens and when not pretending to be serious with work, she loves zoom in and focus, scroll and click,rant and type….

Bolaji, PR, currently holds a creative job in a top notch advertising agency.

When she’s not working, she’s pondering on how to take over your life one click at a time.

When that fails, she dreams of partying or being the world’s top whiz kid and wakes up just in time to face reality.

This year’s event promises to be fully loaded with many of the top acts from Nigeria and in the Diasporas.
